Recent flooding in Illinos

To our customers in Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties of Illinois who have been affected by recent flooding
Medico will work with you to maintain your coverage with us. We have implemented the following safeguards to ensure you are not adversely affected by this flooding or suffer any unnecessary hardship:
- We will withdraw any cancellation or nonrenewal notice issued on or after July 12, 2017, on any in-force policy issued to an affected customer. We will not issue any new cancellation or nonrenewal notices to affected customers until September 30, 2017, or a later time if deemed reasonable given an individual’s circumstances.
- We will allow an additional 60 days to remit premium; submit claims, proof of loss, or submit bills and report information.
- We will consider exceptions to contractual requirements which are not met as a result of this disaster.
