Before you begin

You will need this information to create an account:

  • Valid email address
  • Your Medico policy number

    Frequently asked questions

    • Can I use my customer portal login for the mobile app?
      No. Separate logins are required for the customer portal and mobile app. An update will be released in the near future that will synchronize the login and password for both accounts.
    • What information do I need to set up an account?
      You only need a valid email address and your Medico policy number to create an account. Click the Apple Store or Google Play icons on this page to download the app and get started.
    • What if I forget my password?
      1. Tap “Forgot your password?” on the Login screen.
      2. Retrieve the verification code from your email inbox.
      3. Enter the code into the “Verification Code” field on the app.
      4. Click “Verify Code”.
      5. Type a password 16–64 characters long into the “New Password” and “Confirm New Password” fields and click “Submit”.
      6. Log into your account.
    • How do I submit a claim?
      1. Tap “Claims” at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Click “Submit New Claim” and select “Dental”.
      3. Choose whether you’d like to “Upload” or “Take Picture” of the claim form or bill received.
      4. Once the file is uploaded, complete any required fields that were not pre-populated and hit “Submit Claim”.
    • How do I share my ID card with my provider?
      1. Tap “ID Cards” at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Select “Dental”.
      3. Click “Share Card” to email or text your ID card.
      Tip: You can also click “Add to Wallet” to add your card to your Apple Wallet (iPhone users only) to ensure your ID card is with you at your next appointment.
    • Can I see how many benefits I have used?
      Yes, visit the Policy Details screen to view how many benefits you have used and how many you have remaining per calendar year.
    • How do I contact my agent?
      Your agent’s contact information is listed on the Policy Details screen.
    • How can I ask a specific question about the app?
      If you can’t find an answer in the user guide, please reach out to Medico through the app:
      1. Tap “Support” at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Touch the email address or the phone number to contact Medico directly.
      3. Click “Send a Message” to send and receive secure messages through the app. A Medico Customer Success representative will respond.
    • How do I edit my personal information?
      1. Tap the “More” menu at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Tap “My Account”.
      3. Select the buttons to perform actions:
        1. “Edit Profile” to review or update your information.
        2. “Change Password” to update your password.
        3. “Communication Settings” to review or update email, text, and app notification preferences.
        4. “Emergency Contact” to add or update information.
        5. "Feedback” to share opinions about the Medico app.
        6. “Delete Account” to remove your account.
        7. “Logout” to leave the app.
      4. Click “My Account” in the upper left corner to return to the “My Account” screen.
      5.  Click “Back” in the upper left corner to return to the “More” screen.
    • How do I send a message?
      1. Tap the “More” menu at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Tap “Messages”.
      3. Select the buttons to perform actions:
        1. “Inbox” or “Sent Messages” to view; tap a message to view the entire thread.
        2. “Send a Message” to send a secure message to Medico
      4. Click “Back” in the upper left corner to return to the “More” screen.
    • How do I find a provider near me?
      1. Tap the “More” menu at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Click “Find Provider” to display a map and contact information for the nearest providers.
      3. Utilize the Search and Filter options to help narrow your options. 
      4. Touch the phone icon to call a provider directly.
      5. Click the directions icon for driving directions to the provider’s location.
      6. Zoom out on the map or scroll down the list to view more providers.
      7. Click “Back” in the upper left corner to return to the “More” screen.
    • How do I view past payments?
      1. Tap the “More” menu at the bottom of the screen.
      2. Tap “Premium Payments”.
      3. Review your payment history and select “Filter” to view a date range.
      4. Click “Back” in the upper left corner to return to the “More” screen.
      5. Touch “Home” at the bottom of the page to return to the home screen.
